Sarah Kinosian

Sarah Kinosian provides research, advocacy and support work to WOLA’s Cuba and Regional Security Policy programs.

Before joining WOLA, Ms. Kinosian was the Lead Researcher on Latin America at the Center for International Policy. During her two and a half years there, she primarily researched and wrote about citizen security and U.S. assistance in the region for the Security Assistance Monitor program.

Prior to that, Kinosian worked as a freelance journalist in South America and reported for news website Colombia Reports based in Medellín, Colombia. She has also studied film and philosophy at the University of Havana and worked on youth education projects in Argentina and Nicaragua.

Ms. Kinosian earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.
